Who is RE/MAX Riverina?

RE/MAX Riverina Realty opened in 2021 in Hamilton, with its name taken from the historic hotel that once occupied the site. Well-known local businessman Steve Roper established the global real estate brand in the city with fellow managing director Jo Harris and office manager Lee Roper.

“We wanted to bring one of the world’s greatest real estate names to the Hamilton region in a way that had links to this community. Riverina Hotel was a magnificent building, once purportedly graced by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother. It was New Zealand’s first international hotel".

My Mortgage and RE/MAX Riverina Partnership

The Ropers sought out the top agent in the area to join them as a business partner. Jo Harris is an experienced, highly respected local agent who, like Steve, is a property investor with solid portfolio and has a strong connection with the Waikato Property Investors Association.

“I am in this industry because I love helping people, whether that be in fulfilling their real estate dreams or reaching their financial goals. ‘My passion equals your result’ is my mantra.

Jo has been working with the Team at My Mortgage for over five years and we share a passion for excellent service, fun, and a practical, results-driven approach.

We're stoked to partner with Remax Riverina to work with more epic clients just like you!
